Thats sweet I can only imagine how speedy this phone would be with ICS, I'm pretty stoked to see what you come up with.

Almost complete with the re-sync and build. I had another project I've been working on that I haven't told anyone about yet, which was building CM9 for the Viper. I HAD the CM kernel built, but just didn't get enough time to back up all my data of my desktop before the storm came, so I have to start over. Shouldn't be that hard the second time I build it, right?
I'm glad you were able to get it going again, even tho you have to start over

Is the 1.0 dl link updated since wormy said it was the old build or w/e?

Nope, I haven't had much time to get that updated. I'm currently working on CM, but I'll update the link in a few.

While you guys are waiting for your updates, I'm sitting at my desk at work, quietly using ODIN to flash a leaked build of Jellybean for my phone (Epic 4G Touch) .

Near done. It was hard to bypass the file extension restriction (they restrict what type of files we download based on the extension) , but it's near done. In about a minute, I should be running Jellybelly, haha.

Don't underate yourself Nigel... your not mediocre considering your the only person here that's working on a custom recovery at all that's pretty awesome considering you don't even have the phone.

Hey is that Odin... he he. Why not just flash aokp/cm10 I'm pretty sure the e4gt is supported. Or are you a stockfish man instead?

Lol, I should stop giving out ETAs when I'm multi-tasking. But either way posting the links now. :P

Edit: Oh and yes, this recovery was built from LG's ZVI source, so ICS is compatible.

    No prob. Lol

On the recovery, though, I got the "Enter the Fastboot" thing.

O_O. Is that new or has it been here? I haven't changed anything pertaining to the menu options, I only changed the internal coding, and some line breaks that I thought up. Nothing visually should have changed though, so I'm perpelexed

It's new with the ics update. Same thing I got when trying to flash the previous versions after the update. There's a thread discussing it. Just a blue screen with "Enter the Fastboot" twice followed by "Long time no see!"

I got that same message when the update.zip wasn't on the phone. I put the update.zip back on the phone and reboot too recovery and I was in stock recovery. Has anyone notice the stock recovery layout since the upgrade

I have the update.zip sitting on my sd and booted successfully into it earlier today, but with the new panda flashed, fastboot.

Did something change noticeably on the stock recovery? Haven't spent much time on there. I just wiped my cache.
