New TI Backup UPDATES makes it 100000000% better!!!

Now allows the creation of update.zip including user/system data+apps (flash a whole rom custom or stock via ti backup made update.zip stock recovery compatible!!!
Time to take advantage.

I've noticed the 'create update.zip' option in the menu. Does that mean custom recovery is sort of redundant? Have you used it successfully?

create update.zip has always been in the menu, but that was only to be able to install TI BACKUP via stock recovery, so you can more easily restore your apps. NOW they allow you tto CREATE an update.zip of your choosing which system/user apps+ data ( i havent tested though no) Right now im porting all the new Gapps. ( attempting to, i like the camera and gallery so far...keyboard is nice...

Cool. TI is a great app and has saved me hundreds of times over the years. I never thought it could get any better then it was but now with this option it is now in my opinion a must have for all root users.

I have been on the fence between Rom Toolbox and TI as to which one was the best and must have. I have always tilted towards Rom Toolbox but now clearly TI has taken the lead.
