    Default ZVK Update

    So, I know that our little forum seems to have completely died thanks to LG and their damned locked bootloader, but has anyone installed the zvk update and gotten it rooted? Any significant performance improvement? I'm curious to see if it improves 4g connectivity, since lte is taking its first breaths in my area.

    I forced the update using the zvk tot file Tommy provided.... No luck on getting it rooted yet though. Only thing big that I really notice is my phone will now let go of the phantom 4g signals created by Sprint upgrading the towers near me.

    The update did help with the signal on the phone. When the viper went to ICS , I used the Universal Root Kit on XDA and Was able too root LS840ZVI
