after checking other forums I realize I have 2 issues. One is that I still havent been able to root the Vortex and delete the old/preloaded apps that are protected in the phone. The second is that the internal memory is full and I have 8 gigs on an sd card that it won't install anything to. I have been reading that I shouldn't install apps to the card so I am stuck until I can deleted apps and make more room. Thanks for any help in advance, Mark
