I keep getting this woman's recording coming out of my phone saying "Verizon Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Verizon Wireless ...." and it goes on and on for a while until it finally stops.

This is something new. I've had my phone for about a year now and it never did that before. It is particularly worse (the voice lasts longer) when I first turn on the phone or when I have no or poor reception.

the recording just starts intermittenly, whenever it wants to. It is very annoying especially when I am with company.

I have not changed any settings lately (that I am aware of) so I don't know what is causing this .

Anyone have any ideas on how I can silence this voice?

Homescreen Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile networks
