Why do I need Bluetooth, Wifi and LTE all the time?

So I purchased this device. I think it is great actually, but I am still not clear why we need all three radios running all the time. Can anyone enlighten me as to what each does, especially in terms of connectivity to the 'master' phone?

If you walk away from the phone the cell radio allows you to continue to get calls and messages if you have at&t number sync. Wifi let's you stay connected to the watch if both are on the same network and you are out of Bluetooth range. I don't use Wifi because I never use Wifi with my phone. I have a $3 plan from T-Mobile on the watch for emergencies.

You don't. If you know you're going to be with your phone, turn off Cellular. No reason to keep it running when you'll always been connected via BT anyways. If you're running or at the gym and don't need your phone, just turn on LTE as needed. It's just a few taps!

I don't really think that you need WiFi running constantly. I use it very, very rarely. BT and 3G are all I keep on
