So for the past few days I've been having audio trouble with my newly installed Natty setup. I've exhausted all my contacts that work with Linux (sigh) and myself at the same time. I've even tried Ubuntuforums but the people there kind of remind me of xda so I obviously didn't get help 
In short my problem is that the speakers on my Acer Aspire 5253 won't mute when I plug in headphones (Jack not USB) I've tried editing the Alsa config with every line I could find with no success. If you think you could help me out, it would be GREATLY appreciated!
