I recently "uninstalled updates" for the android market which rolled me back to Market 1.82. I've worked out my issues, and want to go back to the latest market version, which for me was 2.2.11.

I've read that the market is supposed to auto-update over time, but it's not happening. I've trying clearing the cache and data of the market, but I'm not sure if I'm doing all this in the correct order, if there is a correct order.

How long do you need to typically wait? Does "uninstalling updates" interrupt the auto-update?

clear the data for the market under settings>applications>manage applications> all (tab)> market. then next time you open the market it will have you reconfirm usage agreement and within 20min your market should update
