Proclip HTC EVO 3D car charging mount available for sale. Fits Virgin EVO V of course. Getting a new car, mounting the phone differently so I no longer need this.

As you can see they're $59.99 new (plus shipping). If you think the price is too high, make an offer. These are REALLY nice mounts and you can save a ton of money off a retail one.

A fellow board member brought it to my attention that you can get the oem HTC car dock on eBay for ~$15, e.g.:

It made me realize if you're not familiar with Proclip you might confuse this as a much more expensive equivalent. That's definitely not the case so I thought I'd add some more details:

First about the mount base (not for sale here, this is just some basic info). Proclip mounting bases are vehicle-specific and there's usually more than one option. Let me be clear here: this isn't some cheesy stick-on suction solution, nor is it some crappy generic floppy mount base. The mount base is a SOLID foundation for the various device mounts that blends with your car. As an example, there are 3 options for my JSW:

Left vent

Right vent

Center console

I'm currently using the left vent mount for my EVO and the center console base for my Nexus 7, and I have the console mount in my wife's RAV4:

Second about the charging holder: Proclip uses a full 1 amp charger for the EVO holder I have for sale here. The Nexus charger is a full 2 amps. The point being they don't skimp on the charger like most mounts. The holder is CNC machined out of a solid piece, it's ridiculously strong for a plastic mount. The holder features tilt/swivel so you can position the phone at any angle (portrait, landscape, whatever you want).

This is the kind of thing high-end audio shops install for their customers. It's not cheap (well, the one I have for sale is!) but it's well worth the investment IMO. I hope this helps, thanks for looking!
