I have had a lot of problems with Go SMS and Go Launcher since the JB update. They have been laggy and freeze up a lot. I also miss texts constantly.

I like the Quick Reply/Compose feature of chompSMS, but I started having weird issues with the notification sound after switching to CM10 so now I'm using the stock CM10 Messenging app which is almost as good.

I use pansi. It works as well as any other. I used the one that came with go launcher until they added chat and that drove me nuts.

I have no issues with GoSMS it works perfectly for my needs. My texts always go thru quickly and have no issues. Occasionally, when I send photos to someone who doesn't use GoSMS, I have to send them thru the stock messaging but doesn't bother me none.

    I like ChompSMS.

It's missing Jelly Bean expandable Notifications which kind of sucks (especially since it's a paid App) but other than that it's a solid SMS App which I prefer over GO SMS Pro & Handcent.

I've used GoSMS for a while, and have never had an issue. Really like all the themes and additional features.

Stock works good enough for me. Though recently I have been using Handcent SMS and have had no problems with it. Go SMS and Chomp SMS are also great apps and will probably find there way back onto my device in the near future.

Used to love Chomp, but on my Samsung Gal S3 it had problems demonstrating the customized background for the conversation screen and repeatedly informs me of it even after I've left the app - I have to keep killing it. So I'm shopping.

In my opinion the best message application is the ABlacklist, it is a FREE Call Blocker/Call Filter and SMS interceptor for Android based systems. Very easy to configure, only that worked in my LG Phone, I recommend...

ChompSMS all the way. Tried Go SMS Pro thoroughly and I think it's bloated junk compared to Chomp. The quick reply / quick compose feature of Chomp make it a necessity / unmatched. Can't get Go to work right.

Google Voice ...I realize for those of you outside the US, this is irrelevant, but it really is the best of both worlds: uses data instead of SMS but also uses your real number.

Pansi SMS. Works quite well. Can't stand the At&t messaging. Nearly drove me nuts.

One of the things I like the most about webOS is its built-in Messaging app that consolidates all SMS and IM from Gtalk, YIM, etc. into one app.

Now that I'm transitioning to Android, I'm wondering if there is any good equivalent? The stock apps seem to separate SMS and IM into two or more applications.

    Thanks!

Which of these text apps allow for voice recognition texting? Stock on my Razr M does not have that feature.
