1)I really like Go launcher EX. I like the feel of it allot better then just the standard look. Plus letting me put some stuff like my calculator and alarm clock on the bottom bar is nice. And you can hide the top and bottom bars. My screan is a picture of my son and I don't like things blocking it lol.
2)For my calender I like the AA task. Mostly because of the feel and it lets me keep the calender and memo as widgets on separate screens. I use the calender and memo allot so having them just at a glance is great.
3) it is a tie between Iheart and Tune in for radio. I wish there was an app that had both on it but Clear Channel owns Iheart and they are kinda like the Microsoft of radio when it comes to sharing.
4)For news and weather its 9KUSA in Denver. They are NBC and it's basically the same for all NBC Affiliates. It has a great news and Weather source. The Weather allows for alerts that I usually leave off unless there is a storm coming.
5) My favorite Is the Scanner. I tried a few of them and they all seam basically the same, all connected to Radio Reference. I have been a RR user since they were Scan America. I listen when something is going on like this mornings OH shooting. Last summer I was in Texas and we had a pretty bad fire there. it was nice to hear what was going on. RR also has HAM radio feeds with SkyWarn, those are great during a storm.

I would be hopelessly lost without Wee Week Widget. It's the 2x2 calendar in the middle of my screen.

It is unlike any other calendar widget I've found in that it color codes events based on words it finds in the entry. For example: When it sees my boy's name, it uses blue. My girl is pink. "Doctor" or "dentist" is red. "Pay" is green. You set it up however you like. It is truly a full week at a glance.

The big problem is that the dev says it won't work with 3.0 or higher because it's not being supported. I'm hoping enough of you fine folks will try it and like it that the original developer or someone else will run with it. Frankly, this widget is so important to me that I won't take the ICS upgrade if it means losing it.

My only complaint is that the skin isn't very customizable and isn't great looking. That seems like a workable fix.

PLEASE check it out in the Market. Thanks!

My launcher is Go Launcher EX. I prefer it to LauncherPro and the default Android launcher.

My SMS has been replaced forever by Handcent. I actually pay $10 per year for the Handcent gold membership. It's worth every penny to be able to send files up to 25mb.

Netflix.... Nuff said.....

Tapatalk, for its access of so many forums. Almost any questions about something regarding my phone are now even more accessible!

Google Voice for my VM. Nothing beats free transcription and easy deleting after listening. No more having to call you VM!

And (I know this is 6, but still...) Alarm Clock Xtreme. Come on, man. It makes you do MATH to snooze or shut it down. Plus, I got Pro for free using Amazon App Store!
