    On your htc: Settings>WiFi>Advanced Wi-Fi Frequency Band: 2.4 GHz only. Wi-Fi optimisation: off (not ticked) So far this has worked for me.

    For a month now my HTC One M8 won't display my wifi in the settings and when it rarely does, it won't let me connect. It will display 'saved' (yes right password entered) then it disappears. All other devices can connect to it also. I've restarted, recovery mode, wiped cashe partion, left it...
