Oh, and another thing. Make sure that your wifi is switched off, otherwise the email will try to go via wifi (which will again require the smtp settings of the wifi provider)
The SMTP settings on the "Outgoing Settings" of your email account on your phone is not correct. Note they are unlikely to be the same as on your PC. Find out what the smtp settings are for the cellular network you are on and try that.

My Nokia C5 (previous phone) had "directories" for SMS's, like "sent items", "inbox", "drafts". How come this fancy S4mini just piles everything onto "1 heap"? It just seems so sloppy...
