Did you try calling AT&T and asking for the code? They're usually pretty good about it if you tell them you're traveling.

You can get an adapter to use the micro SIM in the Captivate. You will, however, need to contact AT&T to have the data plan switched. If you're under contract with the iPhone4, I think it's more difficult for them to make the switch, but it can be done.

Go to the site on a PC and set your phone there. The Captivate isn't listed, but the Fascinate is. I found it by starting to type Samsung Galaxy. Once you set the phone, you'll be prompted to send an SMS. The site is overloaded, but have patience and you'll get there.
