Question If I had a virus on old phone...

If I had a virus / spyware on my old phone will I be OK to get a new phone and install all my apps from scratch? I know not to transfer from one phone to the other. Will my apps been infected anyway? Like, if I have backed-up photos to Google - will that spyware have made it's way into my...

Question Norton scan - Auto Hotspot PUA

OK thanks. I've found it on system apps, it says there has been 13.74mb mobile data used since Feb. I only ever use the tablet on wifi. I thought I had disabled it, ran another scan, its still showing and now I can't force stop/disable?

Question Norton scan - Auto Hotspot PUA

Absolutely no way I can extract anything! It's not in my apps list as far as I can see. When I click on the app info via Norton it says "disable" or "trust".

Question Norton scan - Auto Hotspot PUA

    Remote spyware?

I’m probably just being stupid. It’s really coincidence more than anything – it’s just something they said made me think “oooh, can they see me or have access to my camera?”. I’m probably reading too much into things. I talked to them via the KIK app on my tablet and haven’t really had any...

    Remote spyware?

I'm not technically savvy at all but is it possible for someone to add spyware on my android without physically accessing it? Like, if I'd been chatting to someone purely online could they install something on my phone? Thanks
