That's seems about right. On my Android One version, system files take up 13.10 gb. I have anther 4.12 gb of apps on mine already. I'm not sure, though, how much of that was already on the phone and how many copied over from my last phone.

I find cast screen to be choppy/jumpy sometimes when streaming video. The xfinity app, just to give a representative example, is unwatchable jumpy.

It depends on usage, but I would worry about the 16gb of storage as much as the 2 GB of RAM. I don't think that's enough for most users.

In the preferences (long press the home screen), there is a place to turn it off (look under "badges"), but I think it's all or nothing. I don't think you can turn it off just for one app.

On the home page, swipe up from the bottom. Then click on preferences and go to the search settings. There, you can turn off quick search. You can also change the parameters if the search.
