Re: What do you NOT like about this phone? returning mine, just can't take seeing the whole screen light up for Moto display in darker/dark situations. I didn't think I'd care, but once you see it, next to a Nexus 6 for example, you can't unsee it. :(

Re: Moto X 2014 battery goes from 20% to nothing Mine's been doing something similar on occasion for the past few months. I have battery saver set to kick in at 5%; and more times that not, I'll hear the battery saver noise when it's supposed to kick in at 5%, but then the phone will just shut...

you're questioning the durability of the frame based on possibly superficially scratching it with a micro usb connector?

why would you not want to update?

I saw somewhere say that testing on a nexus 5 they got ~25% better battery life going from KK to Lolli, and while I don't think the moto X is that much improved, it's definitely better

Re: How's the chalk white back hold up? It's not as soft touch as the black back material, and I haven't felt any of the other colored backs, but it's not slippery. A semi-soft touch is the best I can describe it

Early Moto Maker versions were shipping from Texas and said Assembled in the USA on them. I ordered mine in late Oct, got it Nov 5, and it shipped from Texas but the box just says Made in China. So Texas was spitting out Moto Maker Xs as of a few weeks ago.

Flashed 5.0 update using Wug's nexus root toolkit, and is it normal for the 2012 N7 version to not have transparent nav/notification bar, and still have KK-esq app drawer including black background/widgets drawer, app drawer button, and screen indicator/slider?
