If devs don't recommend restoring data using TiBu, what is the best way to restore data between ROMs? I'm trying upgrade to a ROM running 4.3 and I've run into major difficulties restoring my apps and data using TiBu.

Hello, I was having a similar problem to OP in that after flashing a new rom, my attempts to restore my backups using TiBu would get hung up at 0%. I would also try restoring by extracting app and system data from my nandroid backup (which I would always make immediately before wiping all data...

An easier method would be to just download a rom straight onto your phone from the chrome app. You can use any free file management app (i use astro file manager) to find your download folder and run the rom from there. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta
