Hey, I am learning too, so I added you on facebook just now. Feel free to ask me and if I know, I'll be glad to help. Rob

    [ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS

I don't understand all of the details, but I read an explanation in the old Quattrimus thread about the way the sd-ext/app folder is linked to data/app so the rom can find the apps you have installed. The system just cannot calculate the correct space free/used while the folders are linked...

    [ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS

I gave it a good testing and I found it would freeze and require a battery pull to reboot. I thought it might have to do with keeping the launcher in memory, but I couldn't find it using build prop editor from the market. Anyway, let me know if you make some changes. I'll test it out...

    [ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS

I am running AOKP and I checked my CPUspy and it says I was not in deep sleep at all, but I left my phone off the charger last night and after more than 14 hours of just sitting, battery was at 89%. That's awesome! Rob

    [ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS

I'm running AOKP and I just swapped out the build prop. Seems smooth but I haven't had a chance to really check it out yet. I'll check back in a little later after some testing. Rob

Now that you have sd-ext on your card, go to recovery and wipe dalvik then reboot. It will move your cache to the sd-ext, too. That should free up some space for you. Rob

I also saw that uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixed it for some people. Hope this helps. Rob

I have not made any changes yet, but I wanted to let you know that CPU Spy says I spent 62% of my last 8 hours in deep sleep. This is running CM9 Pre3. I'll make the changes and see what it says in a few hours. Rob

Some have said to check "force gpu rendering" and others said to clear the app's data. I did both at the same time and it hasn't been an issue for me since, though I couldn't say which one worked. Rob

Enabling up to root isn't the only thing you need to do. There is also a checkbox for "make system read/writable" that must be checked since we are working in the system directory. Hope this helps. Rob

I dropped a droid boot animation in there after moving the original out of /system/media. Was sized incorrectly, but that was to be expected. Otherwise, it worked fine on my cm9 pre3. Rob
