I know it is early but will be especially interested in those who have had other Verizon 4G phones, noticing how battery situation compares on a single charge with other 4G devices, ie Tbolt, Razr, etc. I'm guessing it will be in the same ballpark. Wish they could find a way to improve life...

Good point. But i'm impatient! :) Seriously, any observations are helpful though. 4G-wise, very interested in how it compares to the Razr, which can't have an extra battery...

Dying to hear how that's going for you guys. The low speaker sound could be a deal killer for me. But good battery news may persuade me to buy anyway...

Well the first wave of reviews today -- including engadget, slashgear, gizmodo and the one right here in the news section -- aren't very promising. Sounds like that sealed battery could be a issue with typical LTE battery problems and no ability to swap on the fly.

All I know is that I must have an answer to this before making a buy decision. I bought the Tbolt on opening day and will never do that again! Worst battery ever! And the extended battery makes it a brick.

For me the battery will be the deciding factor between the two. Have been really unhappy with the Thunderbolt -- data connectivity inconsistency, GPS never fixed on mine, extended battery bulk, and battery consumption. If someone can make a sleek reliable 4G phone with a decent battery, I'm in...
