Android 13 QPR1 beta was released last week if that's the one the article referenced.

It seems Google is only a few steps away with Magic Eraser. Now that the iphone has it it wouldn't surprise me if we see it on Android in the near future.

I just read about a new photo editing feature coming to Apple iOS. Google really needs to figure out how to add this to camera/Photo editing. I saw this being demonstrated on YouTube and it is right up Google's alley...

What's interesting is on my Pixel 6 Pro the Beta update was 1.99GB in size. Much larger than the update on my Pixel 6a.

Absolutely. A smart move was to put the same Tensor chip in the P6a. A big deal was made of the 60hz refresh rate but in setting up the P6a for my wife I really didn't notice a big difference between it and my P6P 120hz rate. Since I turn off all window animations both phones seem equally fast...

The more I read about the P7 series the more I get the feeling the law of "diminishing returns" apply. Depending on trade-in values for my Pixel 6 Pro I may just wait to see what the Pixel 7a offers. I've really enjoyed using the P6a in place of my P6P that I'm fine taking a wait see approach...

Both phones (Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a) still have those features after the Beta update.
