I do have the US model. The setting for DTMF is right below the setting for hearing aid compatibility. The choices are Normal and Long.

Open the dialer, press the 3 dots in the upper right corner (in the search bar), select Settings, Calls. Hearing aid comparability and DTMF settings are there.

Re: why don't phones support all bands I would think supporting every possible band, whether it will be used or not, would have an impact on battery life. Hence, the manufacturers target those bands that are needed, no more no less, for the carrier or carriers they expect to release the phone on.

It depends on what app you are trying to uninstall. System apps will only allow you to uninstall updates or disable. Some apps won't even let you disable of its integral to the OS. Can you be more specific about what you are trying to uninstall?

I've never had an issue connecting on VZW. I have an odd issue where every now and then the LTE symbol disappears, but I still have LTE data connection. But I've never had a disconnect.

If you never unlocked the boot loader, or didn't enable OEM unlock before updating, HTC is the only one who can fix it at this point.

I bought my Nexus 6 from Verizon, and it came with E out of the box.

Other than waiting and seeing, there is no way to accomplish this without unlocking the boot loader. You can always relock when you are done. Flashing official factory firmware will not void your warranty.

Its a Sprint issue. They won't accept a Nexus 6 bought from another carrier.
