No...the screen does not go black. Is there a way to fix that in the settings?

When I use my phone for any length of conversation, my ear must make a bunch of changes, so when I disconnect, I have to reset the brightness, Bluetooth, date, and other settings. Is there some place I can set it so that the screen locks or something while a phone call is in progress?
