I got Quickoffice HD when it was on sale. It looks nice, but it is definitely light on features. I have D2G Full on my phone, does anyone know if I can use the same key on my tablet? I use ezPDF for annotating PDFs, very handy though not optimized for Honeycomb.

I still think it's just a software issue that Google hasn't gotten around to. There aren't any performance problems with orientation on hardware far inferior to Tegra 2 after all. Maybe some manufacturers have fixes for it, like how Samsung had a hardware accelerated browser before Google added...

I turned off notifications (since it never really worked for me), and that keeps the app quiet. Since Google killed contacts sync between Facebook and Android Contacts, I don't know why I still keep it around though.

I found text entry in the stock browser to be laggy as well, and hit a couple of browser crashes. Alternate browsers seem to handle it just fine. Scrolling in the stock browser is much nicer than it was in 3.0 though.

WiFi-only here. Do you get LED notification elsewhere, like in GTalk?

Really? The LED notification in GMail works for me. Had no light for calendar event reminders though, which is odd.

I agree, dysfunctional is a bit harsh ;) Rough around the edges, more like. Where some manufacturers choose leave out core features like multitasking and copy n' paste to polish the remaining user experience, Android is more features first makeup later. That framerate thing in secondary...

You're in diagnostic mode, for fiddling with the cellular radio. Can you reset it again? Boot it into fastboot?
