Notifications for the various APPS are controlled in the Settings for EACH App .. Have you tried starting there? The other option - if you wish to Turn OFF notification altogether for specific Apps - you go into Settings / Applications / Application Manager .. the select each APP and turn OFF...

How can I unlock my pin screen without doing a factory reset?

If you registered your S6 on the Samsung.com site, you also have an option there to Unlock it ... Not sure if it works if you actually have no Internet connection though, but might be worth a try, Of course, you'll need to know your Password.

    Samsung pay rocks!

OK, so then it DOES use NFC .... That really implies to ME at least that the POS Terminal must have NFC built into it for this to work. Without NFC, how the heck does it communicate with the phone's NFC ?????? I'm fairly technical, so this just doesn't sense to me yet. (NFC capable POS...

    Samsung pay rocks!

Interesting. I really didn't KNOW that. I falsely assumed that an NFC-capable POS terminal was required. In any case, I'm still needing my Credit Union to 'enable' this for their Cards. Do you need to enable NFC on the phone to at least enable THAT side of things? I'm assuming that is a must.

    Samsung pay rocks!

Just wish MORE Banks & Stores upgraded to actually use it .. None of my cards nor stores I shop most at have this available yet. Typical though for new technology. Patience.

    Syncing Calendars

If you're referring to being able to SYNC a PC's OUTLOOK Calendar with GMAIL's, you can't anymore - without buying a program that installs on your Outlook PC .. If that is the case, the one I bought is GSYNCIT and available : http://www.fieldstonsoftware.com/ It works very well, but yes, you...

Doesn't recognize my fingerprint and don't know backup password, how can I get into my phone?

Re: doesn't recognize my fingerprint and don't know backup password Did you register it on the Samsung.com web site? If so, you go there, login, and there is an option to UNLOCK the screen. Otherwise you might be stuck in just doing a full reset of it - at which point you MUST be in...

which Video recording option do you find BEST for transferring recordings to PC ?

Thanks for your input & opinions on this .. I have a 2.4 Ghz with 6 GB memory, 64 bit .... HP Pavilion Laptop. I would be surprised if it is not "strong enough" to be able to support the videos I take with my phone ... but hey, this is Windows we're talking about .. lol .. I'll try playing...

which Video recording option do you find BEST for transferring recordings to PC ?

I guess my previous issue wasn't very clear. So I'll try this again. Which Video recording option do you default to that provides a clean/clear playback after transferring the file to a Windows PC ? When I record at the max - UHD (60 FPS?) - it plays beautifully on my phone. But when I copy it...

Video Playback on Windows is horrible

I have been taking GREAT videos with my S6 & they look fantastic on the phone. But when I copy them to my Windows 10 machine they are horrible. They are very very jerky. I am assuming it has to do with FPS that UHD records ???? (is it 60 fps?) has anyone found a Video player for Windows that...

    S6 Camera Issues

Yes, I removed it ... But actually, there is/was a Hole cutout for the actual lens. So it wasn't OVER the lens itself.

    S6 Camera Issues

Interesting ... Yes, I see that small plastic covering the lens ... I assume it is to prevent dirt/damage to the lens ... hmmmm....
