Notifications for the various APPS are controlled in the Settings for EACH App .. Have you tried starting there? The other option - if you wish to Turn OFF notification altogether for specific Apps - you go into Settings / Applications / Application Manager .. the select each APP and turn OFF...

Interesting. I really didn't KNOW that. I falsely assumed that an NFC-capable POS terminal was required. In any case, I'm still needing my Credit Union to 'enable' this for their Cards. Do you need to enable NFC on the phone to at least enable THAT side of things? I'm assuming that is a must.

Yes, I removed it ... But actually, there is/was a Hole cutout for the actual lens. So it wasn't OVER the lens itself.
