Thanks for that, I was seeing the same issue and just restarted my phone hoping this solves it as otherwise I was going to have RMA the phone and case.
T-mobile just pushed an update that supposedly fixes the issue around the dual screen randomly turning off. Also a fix for the speakerphone muting randomly. I had the issue with the Dual Screen fading out our turning off. Didn't send it back in yet so seeing if this fixes the issue.
I'm having the same issues on my Note 9 as well. Tried clearing the cache, restarting the phone, even uninstalled and reinstalled the Play store and no changes. I'm on a T-Mobile Note 9 running CSD1, April 1 Security Level.
LG V30 Display "Issues"?
So I'm just going to post this here as my two cents and take it with a grain or perhaps a shaker full of salt. Unless you are Vlad or Ron or Alex, or have them looking at your phone all day take the issues they have with the display and put them up for personal...
Mine is a 09/2017 and I'm not seeing any display issues using display tester. Of course ymmv, as I've noticed display perception seems to be a matter of taste...
I think they've had greater demand than expected... When I went in to register mine for the Daydream VR I was number 153,000+... With the V20 and V10 it took months to get there...
That's not correct it's just marketing. Both Samsung and LG use P-OLED displays, but Samsung chooses to market theirs as AMOLED (Active Matrix OLED Display), which is what LG uses as well, but they identify by a different marketing language probably due to trademarks etc...

Not a bootloop, a true bootloop would never start back up, it just gets to the boot screen and resets again. Sounds like it may be defective unit, I'd take it back, they do happen sometimes.
What is the resolution set for on default for the V30 camera? I know on the G6 the resolution defaulted to 16:9 at a lower resolution. 4:3 and gives the best pictures with the most detail. I'm wondering if that's the case in the V30 too.
From what I understand Poweramp is not setup to take advantage of the DAC in its fulness. In the Alpha that was out the dev had to specifically code for devices DAC's and there hasn't been an update in almost a year so I doubt it would take full advantage of it. This is mainly for to Poweramp...
