Mine does it when I have a missed call or text msg. You can turn it off in settings.

It works very well. It's comparable to Samsung's Kies air which you should already have

Some widgets are built specifically for the manufacturers UI. I figured that out the hard way back when I switched to ADW EX on my EVO. More often than not, you will be able to find a comparable widget on the market, but you can't make HTC sense, TW, Blur etc. do anything more than they're made...

yours is quite a bit faster than it is here in Austin Mellimel22, but then again the network here is only about 15-20% complete. I'm sure it'll pick up. It's just a matter of when.

I use Openfeint. it's free and pretty easy to set up. One cool thing about it is that it builds its own network depending on how many devices are in the area. So if you're out with your laptop and you have 3 friends that have the app, it will pull signal off all 3 phones instead of bogging one down.

I can't speak for NFL12, but I think Scorecenter is horrible. I gave up on it a couple years ago. I've been using ScoreMobile and it's been great. As a matter of fact all of my friends converted after they checked it out on my phone.

The only thing I would look out for is to make sure the new battery has the NFC antennae in it, if you plan on using that function.

are you trying to update it on your phone or pc? Have you tried the app airdroid? it does the same thing as Kies

I've never tried to use it until today, but everytime I do I get unable to fetch Samsung account authentication. try again later. I've tried clearing the cache and data from the app. signed out and back in of my Samsung acct. Now I don't know what to do next.
