Is there mobeam support in the S6 or was it cut? One of the things I'm pretty fond of in my S4 is Beep n'Go, which uses some magic unicorn blood or something in the phone to work with old-style laser scanners.

Just to confirm here, I got my Nexus, plugged in the Square reader, and it worked. So the new port definitely supports mics.

So far as I can tell, car mode has never been enabled on this. Haven't had the chance to try the replug the cable suggestion yet, will let people know if it works.

I've noticed that after having my S4 plugged into my car's audio by the headphone jack, sound will no longer come from the rear speaker until I reboot the phone. Has anyone else encountered this?
