So I won't be able to update LP at all because I'm running the super dark ROM?

I may be doing something wrong, but everytime I flash a new Kernel I have to completely setup my phone like its brand new. Is this common or am I missing something.

Finally took the plunge and rooted... installed ROM manager and backed up current ROM (which is just the stock one). Wanted to make sure it works and when I'm in recovery mode I try to load it and it loads about halfway loaded and I get E:failed to verify whole-file signature E:signature...

Yeah, I'm not sure what's the problem

does anybody know how to get 5.1 on the music player. It keeps on saying sound effects must be turned off, and I'm pretty sure I have everything turned off. I think someone may have asked this, so I'm sorry if I re-asked an answered question. Thanks
