Default Let market update apps automatically?

Was wondering if there is any issue with letting app market auto update my apps as updates are made available. I get frequent update notifications and some seem repetitive notifying me every couple days for the same app I just updated. Gets annoying. Any downside to letting it happen automatically? Is it polling all the time? Curious what everyone does.

I normally allow the Market to update apps I use frequently just to make sure I'm running the latest stuff.

Regardless of what you choose to do you can always goto Settings-Applications-Manage Apps and find the app of choice and uninstall any recent update if something is going on that you don't like.

You can also find the installed app you have set to auto update in the Market on your device and toggle it to off/on at will.

Probably the most frequently updated apps are GMail and Google Maps. These can be updated sometimes once or twice a week at times...
