Re: [How to] Root 2.3.3 Casio Commando
Sorry for the late reply (once again)
When something is compressed (.zip) you always want to extract it, unless you know exactly what you're looking for. (Extract the entire thing)
You don't need to worry about backing up files, and SD cards are not an issue with this root.

Re: [How to] Root 2.3.3 Casio Commando
This is the truth. The "Reset to Factory Default" is no such thing. All it does is delete what you have added. if you have rooted and uninstalled bloatware, it does not reinstall those. It also does not remove root access nor restore the build file to stock.
I did it this morning after backing things up because the OTA update failed. It did not fix the issue. On the bright side, after I had unistalled T9 trace and the "factory reset" deleted my keyboards, I had no input method to log into my google account. Hurray email to text so I could copy and paste. Though I'm glad because I'm not sure M100 is rootable atm. - 02-07-2012, 02:41 PM #29

Re: [How to] Root 2.3.3 Casio Commando
Lost my root. I hate verizon sometimes... Why cant we just buy a phone, and decide for ourselves what is on it? You buy a computer, and you have complete control over what apps, even what OS is on it!!!

Re: [How to] Root 2.3.3 Casio Commando
My question is straightforward: Are there Android phones that no one ever figures out how to root? (After the company starts selling then with an update?)
I can pay a ridiculous $30 fee to Verizon to trade this for another model as I am still in my 14 day trial. Or I can wait for someone to root m110. Waiting 3 months doesn't bother me. Waiting for eternity does. There is certain iptables functionality I cannot do until root is applied.
Please advise. - 07-22-2012, 02:11 PM #37
Re: [How to] Root 2.3.3 Casio Commando
What is Hellions with BLUE flames? It keeps causing the rooting process to end. Please god help me. This is my second day messing with this. Can a Casio Commando even be rooted?

Re: [How to] Root 2.3.3 Casio Commando
Y'all are sounding like idiots. If you would read the comments from over 5 months ago that this POS phone is UNROOTABLE you would have an answer to your questions...

Re: [How to] Root 2.3.3 Casio Commando
Not completely true. I had my commando rooted last year before traiding it in. I used SuperOne Click and it worked just fine. One issue I did have was that my anti virus on my computer kept causing issues because it thought it was a virus. Once I turned it off and removed my SD card I was good to go.

Re: [How to] Root 2.3.3 Casio Commando
Let me re-phrase: as of build M110 this POS phone is unrootable. All existing exploits do not work on M110 or M120 (newest build).
