Just some basic questions.
Hey I'm new here on Android Central. I just picked this phone up a couple of weeks ago and so far havent had any major problems with it. I do go to school all day so the battery life drainage isnt as apparent untill i get home at which point I usually have to eithe plug it in or swap out the battery. The spare has now become one of the few things I always have on me unfortunately. Anyways I was currious about a few terms ive heard such as the "doesnt make waffles" thing. what exactly does that mean? Is this phone worth rooting and if so what did most of you do with it? And also what are some of the ways you saved the battery life for a bit longer?

Battery life is not as bad as I thought it would have been for 2 screens. Keep your brightness under control, mines half way, rarely maxed out. Screen timeout, keep it low, nothing over a minute. I have auto screen rotate set to off, it helps with stability as well as battery. I found that too often I would unlock my phone and it would be stuck in landscape orientation. I always open my phone to type so it flips for messages by itself anyway, not to much of a bother.
There's an app I use called Fast Reboot that restarts everything running and frees up memory within 2 seconds. It just restarts everything without restarting the phone, really helps stability as well.
Make sure you turn off wifi when not using it otherwise it will constantly scan. My 3g is always on and that's never been a problem.
NO LIVE WALLPAPER!! Ill post more if I think of anything.

Re: Just some basic questions.
The waffles thing was about the transforming aspect, and it resurfaced when there were rumors about NFC support. I can say the battery lasts me about two days on average, or one day if I need to work online. Almost never need the booster but I always appreciate it when I do.
