    Default LED Flashlight app?

Has anyone come across a LED flashlight app that works with the Echo?

Maybe if you want to burn out the sun's retinas.

I'd suppose that such an app could be hella powerful, but I think my knife is plenty bright on its own. (Buck brand, .25 watt light built into the frame. Think it is for mountain climbing but it's great on boxes too.)

Nope. Tried every led app on the market. Free ones only of course. I emailed a couple of devs of those apps to see if they will add it to the compatibility list.

I wonder if the Echo dev support promised by Kyocera could point them in the right direction. Maybe this is one of those weird flashes, where you send a fixed signal and it lights for only one second.

Tiny flashlight+LED. Only downside is when you turn on the torch it flashes intermintely instead of constant light. Its not a fast flash but just weird. It has a bunch of screen lights too.

Thanks! That does appear to work. My guess its trying to fake-out autofocus actions for the camera (which seems to be about the duration of the flash). It's not consistent, but I'll take it.
