I need to have this phone and I'm almost willing to buy one outright for usage at home on wifi only.
How can I find out if an unlocked Echo would work on Bell Mobility's network in Canada (Bell supports EVDO REV A...) or any mobile operator in Canada for that matter? I'd be willing to switch to any mobile operator just to use this phone, but for the life of me can't figure out or confirm if 3g data will work with any of the operators here. I'm going to doubt this gets released in Canada. I already tried contacting Bell and got the usual no f***en clue response. The mass market isn't ready for this inevitable form factor yet in my very humble opinion, but I sure as heck have been waiting for dual screen 'tablet mode' like forever...
