Desperately want a tablet; but should I wait?

I want one now, but I see there are some new great ones coming out. Comparing tablets like the Transformer Prime, iPad 3, Excite 10, and XYBOARD (ridiculously expensive) I'm torn.

- I'm really not looking to spend more than $499 (of course with tax)
- Organized media (this is my #1 thing and iOS blows this out of the water)
- ICS isn't a need but would be really nice to have
- Don't care for docking at all
- I have an extra 32GB SD card laying around for storage
- Connection to TV would be nice

Now with this said, is it best to go with the Transformer Prime or Excite, or just wait a little bit for any other tablets that should be coming out?

If you had to get one now my recommendation would by the Transformer pad TF300

If you felt like waiting then i would wait for the Asus Transformer Infinity.

The new iPad is another good tablet for what its worth but i personally don't like the close ecoystem of iOS
