Its cheap. The materials are most likely on the low end of tablets. But that said, for most people a tablet is a web browser and the Polaroid does that just fine. IT can't handle high end gaming like Shadowgun or GTA or Riptide but it will do Angry Birds just fine.

Be warned a lot of cheaper tablets don't support Google Play so you may need to side load the Amazon App Store for a real app selection

Actually it's made by an outfit called Southern Telecom. They just licensed the Polaroid, Emerson, Uniden, Sharper Image and SlicK brands for tablets. You ain't lived till you walk into Big Lots and see the same device but with Uniden branding.

I bought a Uniden 7" tablet from Big Lots that cost $65. I will tell you it isn't the greatest, but it does work OK. I had to kinda backdoor the google play store on it, but it works pretty good for the money. I got it to see if I would use it and whether I would want to spend the money on a better one or not.
