toshbia thrive or acer iconia a500

I am trying to decide between the two above. I have heard good things about both and heard some negative things about both also. Can anyone tell which tablet is better in your opinion. I heard the Acer tends to slow down and the rep at stables told me to go with the Toshiba cause every Acer he sold came back.

Well so far I love my acer. Now I have only had it for a week so far. Both tablets are really nice though.
