So I ordered the Dell Venue 8 Pro yesterday, and was wondering if it was possible to dual boot W8.1 and Android.

Um not really, theoretically you can install Linux on it and there are methods to install Android on your device. (Though they are risky and might need a lot of work on your part). So if you're willing I would recommend that you Google
"[Guide] Dualboot (Acer Iconia W700) Windows 8 - Android" and follow the XDA Developer Link. The tablet is based on a similar architecture of Dell Venue 8 so won't really be that much of a problem. In any case, if you want you can also run Genymotion which is a virtual Android emulator for Windows (more convenient and won't cause your device to brick, though might cause some BSODs). Here's to hoping you find what you're looking for.
P.S. I take no responsibility if you manage to harm your device.

Ah. I thought it may be possible. Maybe I'll just dual boot Linux then...
