Having a problem with email auto-sync and I can't refresh my email. How can I fix this?

Having problem with email autosync cant refresh my email

I have an LG phone it will not allow me to retrieve my emails or refresh phones insync is off temporarily univailable i need help to fix so i can read my emails

Have you tried going to settings, then Accounts & Sync? In there make sure that Auto-Sync data is checked, then click on google (or yahoo or whatever) and make sure that all the boxes about mail (and anything else you want to sync) are checked. Hopefully that should clear up the problem. When you're in there, each option should actually tell you when it was last synced which should be about the last time you saw new mail That date/time should update to now soon after checking the boxes.

All menu names and options are specific to my phone and marshmallow, so yours may be in slightly different spots, but look around they should be there
