samsung j2 6 shows error message of device overheating. it closes all applications and the device automatically power off. charging is also not working and there the message overheating comes.

i tried with reset, battery change but problem still continues.

what can do?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it actually overheating, or does the phone remain cool? If it's not actually hot, has the phone been exposed to water recently? Water damage can cause the thermal sensors to malfunction.
