disconecting fix in next update?

Was wondering if Motorola could fix the disconnecting problems with a update to the watch or if it is a hardware issue?

Not really 100% sure, but previous experience with much older smartwatches like the LiveView and Sony MN2 have greatly benefited in keeping a solid Bluetooth connection from software updates alone. So, I imagine a software update could help if not entirely fix the disconnect issues of the Moto 360. I currently get about 4-5 disconnected messages on the watch a day even tho the phone is in my pocket only a short distance away.
