That article makes no sense. Google upgrading to compete with the 360? Upgrading the pixel resolution???? Lots of grammar errors too.

Okay I got Update on watch 4.4.w2 but the app in the phone is still not 2.0

Well, we have now seen two Wear updates since this thread started but no 2.0 verion. And I have Android 5.0 on all my devices now and still no Wear 2.0. Wasn't the rollout of Wear 2.0 supposed to be around the same time as the Android 5.0 rollout?

Quite a few material design google app updates released this week as well (keyboard, turbo's camera, & gallery today alone). I think it may be close. Very close.
