Will a Moto E work with JBL flip bluetooth speakers if it doesn't have A2DP?

I'm torn between the Moto G (first gen) and the Moto E. I bought the Moto G2 but I don't like the big screen size and so I'm selling that and the choice now lies between Moto E and Moto G (first gen). I noticed Moto E doesn't have A2DP, so will it work with my JBL flip?
