Specs For Cheaper Version of Moto G Leaked | TechnoBuffalo

A new Motorola device was recently spotted by Brazilian site Tecnoblog after passing through Anatel (the country?s FCC equivalent) to reveal a list of specs for the upcoming device.

The new Motorola smartphone appears to come in three variants with model numbers XT 1021, XT 1022 and XT 1025. The first offers a single SIM card slot, while the second is a dual-SIM device and the third packs dual-SIM support and a digital TV tuner. Other than that all three variants offer the same specs, including a 4.3-inch display, 4GB of storage, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM a 1900mAh battery, and Android 4.4 software.

4GB of storage? Seriously? I know it's supposed to be a budget handset, but geez...

True but remember when Motorola stated that they wanted to make a $50 phone? This phone was built to truly compete with the Lumia 520 (which is really the only good unlocked phone that is less than $150). You can get one in the states locked to ATT for $60 and it is a solid device. If the Moto E comes in at $100 unlocked - Motorola could have another huge hit.

4.4.2 will take most if this memory and as I understand it 4.4.2 does not allow you to transfer apps to memory cards. This will make it a feature phone rather than a smart phone.

Must admit though that I am looking forward to the launch to see how good it will really be.

I hope it does well for Moto.

The Moto G is Motorola's best selling smartphone. If this is priced significantly below the G, I'm kind of expecting the Moto E to move more units.
