Moto G problem with App Screen

Hello, sometimes the apps' texts in the App Screen appear as white squares, and sometimes apps don't appear at all but they are actually there and would launch if you touch on one of the invisible apps. I have a screenshot but don't know how to upload it here.

Solution: Restart the phone.
But could someone tell me why did this happen? And how to stop this from happening again?

Hi. Do you have a custom rom installed by any chance?

If not, have you tried factory resetting your device?

Yes a simple restart will fix....it seems a bit buggy sometimes.... I noticed that too

Hey all,

that's a Kitkat issue, using a different launcher such as Nova launcher should help.

But no I don't have any custom rom installed, and no I haven't reset my phone, it's almost new though.

You mean this happens with every device with kitKat? Well that means it's a common issue and will be fixed soon enough, thanks. I don't really like using different launchers, I'm always a fan of the default ones Lol.
