Why does my screen keep turning off while phone in use?

why does my screen keep turning off while phone in use

i have a moto g, sleep set for 5 min, but the screen keeps turning on and off while im using the phone

Does this get off during inactivity? If yes then please check your sleep time in your display settings! If its still the same reset your phone! And then try again. And if it still doesnt help then take it to your service center.

while not in use the phone will sleep after the set 5 min
