Will a Verizon version for the new Moto G will ever come? I didn't find any updates on them! Any news guys?

Every spec that I have seen shows that it won't support Verizon. Given that the Moto pure shows Verizon support, it seems unlikely that a g would show up on Verizon.

Also to add that imo, the closest thing you will find on Verizon would be the Moto e 2nd gen which I picked up on sale for $25 . it has the same cpu, gpu, ram, and internal memory as the base g which runs $179. The g does have water resistance, customizations, slightly better screen and battery, but from the $25 that I paid to $179 is also a huge price difference.

It made it to Verizon prepaid last year, why would they not do the same this year??? I am on Moto X 2013 prepaid Verizon (Net10) and it's really a great phone save the battery and camera. While the new G, in my eyes, is not truly an "upgrade" it would be nice to check off the minuses of the X 2013.

Yep, only the 1st Gen made it to Verizon. The 2nd Gen was originally GSM only, though an LTE variant (not sure if it was 1st or 2nd Gen) made it to U.S. Cellular.
That is why I was first excited to see CDMA specs for this one, though so far, Verizon is not listed.

The problem is that Motorola is only selling the KT1540 (GSM unlocked) model and they will not give an estimate of when the KT1548 (CDMA unlocked) will become available. Of course, the Moto X pure will connect with everything and they probably have the brainstorm that if you have difficulty obtaining the Moto G - you'll go nuts and aleviate your obsession by spending twice the money. A lot of people are going to have issues trying to use the KT1540 with service providers who do not have the band strength to yield best service. The new game is to wait - obtain an invitation in order to buy a phone - or buying an alternative which is not always the best solution.
The 1st Gen Moto G made it to Verizon Prepaid, and was very successful.
None of the followup versions of the Moto G made it to any form of Verizon Wireless service, including the 3rd Gen 2015 model (so far, at least).
I see that Virgin Mobile offers the CDMA 3rd Gen G now for $149. No idea if that phone could ever work on Verizon...I'd guess not.

The CDMA version would work well on Verizon but the weakest band would be the 4G - the 2G and 3G would be fine. I don't think you can buy the phone from Virgin unless you have service with them...I wound up going for the Nexus 6P which like the Moto x pure works almost anywhere...
So, the Moto G 3rd Gen wouldn't work WELL on Verizon, if Verizon even activated it at all?
If I had the cash, I'd probably get a Moto X Pure Edition.
The Moto X (XT1548) CDMA model is the only one that would work well on Verizon. Right now the XT1540 is the only one being offered at the Motorola website for sale. If you look at the spec sheet on the website you'll see the model numbers listed - here is a copy and paste:

The XT1540 is compatible with some of Verizon frequencies on 4G but the XT1548 would not only equal the 4G connectivity of the XT1540 but be completely compatible with Verizon 2G and 3G on top of that. None of the Moto G models give 100% connectivity with Verizon - the Moto X pure edition and the Nexus 6P (Nort America A1) models do (100%).
I think that the lack of clarity to the consumer in this area is negligence - the consumer is left with self education as the only coping strategy - the agony of dropped calls, having to return or exchange a phone, and other nuances it causes - ironically is also why Motorola is nowhere near Nokia, Apple, or Samsung in sales.

The real issue here is Verizon... They will not activate a non-approved device, regardless if it will technically work or not. This is not GSM service, and although Verizon phones have a SIM it is only for LTE, voice will not work until the devices has been activated by Verizon.
