Why won't my Phone connect to the charger?

I bought a new charger and it worked great at first.. Now I have to jiggle, maneuver , make offerings to the Gods and hope the Planets are in alignment to get the port and charger to connect.. Any answers for me?

Jiggle? The microUSB port in the phone is loose. Get it replaced before it causes problems. (There's a little spark inside every time you jiggle it to make or break a connection.)
