I got up this morning and there was a notification on my phone that there is a system update available (android 6.01). I thought what the heck, and downloaded it. It took some of my apps off of of the front screen and uninstalled one, but no big problems. I then checked to see what it had done to the storage, and my available space has gone from just over 1gb to just under 2gb. I am presuming Google realised there was an issue with the way 6.0 was dealing with apps and have done something about it.
