All Factors to be checked after receiving the mobile from flipkart

I have orderd moto g from flipkart and the reviews abt not working of mobile is too high, so please request you to specify the key stuffs that should be checked to verify the mobile has no defects..

Yup I received from flipkart 3 days ago and there is no complaints
Battery life is amazing
So don't worry you will not regret it

Im facing two problems right now!!
The first one being that im not able to connect to the PC(i have windows 7) via usb for file transfer..
and
the second is that when i was trying to do so.. my battery completely got drained form 80% to 1% .. why did this happen

try to update the OS Moto G update pushing out to just about everyone | Android Central

also you need to give a few days for the battery to settle down
